In my house, no Italian meal is complete without some sort of bread. This parmesan garlic bread is crispy, buttery and and has just the right amount of subtle garlic flavor. It’s way better than store bought garlic bread and is done in 10 minutes.

Step Four: Spread garlic butter on each slice or bread, then top with a generous layer of parmesan.

In this section I will give you ways to freeze, re-purpose and/or use some of your ingredients for another meal. Save yourself some time and effort next time you’re in the kitchen!

Butter: Double the butter recipe and add some lemon juice to the leftover butter to create a lemon garlic herb butter.

Parmesan Croutons: If you have any leftover bread, cut it into small squares and toast it for about 3 minutes at 400 degrees. Use them as croutons in a caesar salad.

Substitutions

  • Bread- if you don’t have sourdough try french bread or Texas toast.

Top Tip

Watch the bread when it is under the broiler. It can quickly go from golden brown to burnt.
